Regular Membership
Regular membership is open to researchers, students, and other individuals engaged in the scientific study of urate, purines, pyrimidines, and other nucleic acid–related compounds. Members aim to promote academic exchange with domestic and international societies, contribute to the advancement of medicine and related fields in Japan, and support the improvement of public health.
Institutions or individuals subscribing to the Society’s journal are also eligible.

Membership Benefits
By joining the Japanese Society of Gout and Uric & Nucleic Acids, members enjoy the following benefits:
- Eligibility to submit and publish their research in the Society’s journal, Gout and Uric & Nucleic Acids (published twice a year).

Annual Membership Fee
- Regular Member：￥8,000
- Members within five years of graduation：￥3,000
Membership Application and Annual Fee Payment
- To join the Society, please complete and submit the membership application form.
Details regarding payment of the annual membership fee (¥8,000, or ¥3,000 for members within five years of graduation) will be sent to you by email from the Secretariat after your application is received. - ※ For overseas members, payment can be made by international bank transfer (SWIFT).
Please note that all transfer charges must be borne by the sender (the OUR option is strongly recommended).
Supporting Membership
Supporting membership is open to individuals or organizations that endorse the mission and activities of the Society.
To apply, please complete the Supporting Membership Application Form and submit it by email to the Secretariat at the address below.
Annual Supporting Membership Fee
- Supporting Member: ¥100,000 per unit (multiple units accepted)
- Special Supporting Member: ¥100,000 per unit (multiple units accepted), plus co-sponsorship fees for seminars
